Mode of Submission of Additional Documents
Note:
Given the rush at our acceptance counters, it is usually not always feasible to carry out a comprehensive scrutiny of all your documents right at the time of submission. In the case of submissions at centres other than the passport office, we undertake a secondary scrutiny after the application reaches us. In rare cases, therefore, it is possible that there may be objections on your file after submission. We normally communicate such objections to you by post. (It is therefore very important that you provide your correct residential address in your application). Once these objections are resolved, your file will be cleared for issue of a passport.
You can submit the documents personally at the enquiry counter in the ground floor, or drop them in the drop boxes provided for the purpose. You can also send your replies and other documents by post, quoting the office reference no. and/or file number.(Postal Address: 80 ft. Road, 8th Block, Koramangala.)
You can approach our enquiry counter on the ground floor. You will be given an appointment to meet the Superintendent (Enquiry).
You can submit the PP forms either at the enquiry counter on the ground floor or drop it in the ‘Drop Box’ provided in the ground floor of the office. It can also be sent to us by post. In all cases, you should clearly write your application file number. To submit the PP forms at the enquiry counter, you need to join the queue for enquiry.
The PP forms will be sent to the police authorities again for verification. Once the report is received, your passport will be cleared for issue. There is no need to pay any additional fee. To download the forms, click .

Note: Applications pending at this office due to incomplete police reports, or non-receipt of police reports, can also be cleared under the new guidelines, if the applicants submit any 3 of the 14 listed documents. Post-issue police verification will be done in such cases. |
