he jurisdiction of RPO Bangalore extends over the entire State of Karnataka.We provide passport services to any applicant who can produce proof of residence in Karnataka.In the case of students enrolled in educational institutions in Karnataka,a Bona Fide Certificate from the concerned institution will suffice.In the interests of efficient use of the facilities created for indirect submission of passport applications,we suggest that applicants from the Bangalore region submit their applications at BangaloreOne Centres (please click for details) or Speed Post Passport Centres for non-tatkaal cases, wherever possible. This will help us reduce congestion at our premises and provide better services to tatkaal applicants and those who come from far away districts.
Non-tatkaal applicants from the districts are advised to submit their applications whereverpossible through the District Passport Cells or Speed Post Passport Centres, in order to avoidlong journeys to Bangalore. Details of these centres are available on our website.
